Profile

Each profile keeps its own saved tokens, list picks, sync history, and background schedule.

Quick Setup

Enter a profile password. Leave UUID blank for a new profile. Click Save Profile.

Add your PublicMetaDB API key in Connections. Connect SIMKL, Trakt, AniList, or MDBList.

Pick lists in Lists. Return to Dashboard and click Sync Lists.

Profile UUID

Use this UUID + password to reopen the same profile in another browser or server.

AniList Optional

Anime list sync directly from AniList.

Username

Leave empty if anime should come only from SIMKL.

MDBList Optional

Selected MDBList catalog lists. MDBList watch status sync is handled by MDBList's own Trakt/Plex integrations.

Choose exactly what to sync from each connected source into PublicMetaDB.

SIMKL Lists

Choose which movie, show, and anime statuses should sync from SIMKL.

AniList Lists

Choose which anime lists should sync into PublicMetaDB.

Trakt Catalogs

Primary sync rules are Trakt watchlists and watched history. Recommendation, personal, liked, and public lists remain available as legacy list imports.

MDBList Lists

Imports selected MDBList catalog lists into PublicMetaDB. Native MDBList watchlist/history writes are not exposed by this app; use MDBList's Trakt integration for that path.

Behavior

Control how and when SyncMeta fetches and pushes data.

List Sync

Schedule and behavior for syncing lists from your connected sources into PublicMetaDB.

Sync lists automatically in the background

Update Every (Seconds)

Minimum 21600 s (6 h). Default 43200 s (12 h). Scheduled from end of last successful run.

PMDB Native Watchlist

Select which services contribute their "plan to watch" items to your PublicMetaDB native Watchlist. Arrows show the sync direction.

Watch History

Import watched history into PublicMetaDB. The selected source is the only write direction for this rule.

Applies to your Trakt watchlist and personal-style catalogs.

Trakt Public Lists

Applies to liked Trakt lists and Discover/public Trakt lists.

MDBList Lists

Recommended: public — MDBList selections are usually shared/public-style catalogs.

Irreversible actions that affect this profile and its stored data.

Delete Profile

Permanently deletes this profile, saved credentials, sync history, and local draft data from this browser. Type DELETE when asked to confirm.
